By accessing or using The Data Academy website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our Services

The Data Academy provides:

• Professional data science and analytics training courses
• Online learning platform with video lessons and quizzes
• Digital certificates of completion
• Certificate verification services

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• One person per account — accounts are non-transferable

4. Enrollment and Payments

• Course enrollment requires confirmation from our team within 24 hours
• Enrollment is subject to course availability
• Payment terms and refund policies are communicated at the time of enrollment
• TDA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses with reasonable notice

5. Certificates

• Certificates are issued upon successful completion of a course
• Certificates remain the property of The Data Academy and are issued under our authority
• Misrepresentation of certificates is strictly prohibited
• TDA reserves the right to revoke certificates issued in error or fraudulently obtained
• Certificate verification is a public service — certificate details may be viewed by anyone with the certificate ID

6. Intellectual Property

• All course content, materials, and resources are the intellectual property of TDA
• You may not reproduce, distribute or resell course materials without written permission
• Recording of live sessions is not permitted without prior consent

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems
• Share your account credentials with others
• Submit false information in contact or enrollment forms
• Scrape, copy or harvest data from our platform

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Data Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Malawi. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Malawi.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
