On 16 October 2026 we closed Cohort 3 of our Excel for Data Analysis and Reporting training. It was our largest group of Quarter 4, with 74 participants, and the last Excel cohort of 2026.

Day one of Cohort 3 on Google Meet, 5 October 2026, with 61 participants online.
Over two weeks, from 5 to 16 October, participants joined live evening sessions on Google Meet, led by our lead trainer, Fatsani Tamandikani. Thank you to everyone who made time after work to learn with us.
Who the training is for
The course is designed for people who work with numbers every day and want to do it faster and with more confidence:
- Data analysts
- M&E officers and managers
- Researchers
- Students and graduates
- Anyone curious about working with data
What we covered
The training followed the full path from raw data to a finished report:
- Data entry and validation, so data is accurate from the start
- Cleaning and preparing data for analysis
- Formulas and functions for processing data quickly
- Pivot tables for summarising large datasets in seconds
- Charts and graphs that explain the numbers
- Dashboard design and interactive reporting
- A practical analysis and reporting project, where participants put every skill together
The goal is simple: finish the course able to take a messy spreadsheet and turn it into a clear report that helps someone make a decision.
Why Excel still matters
Many of the tools data professionals use today, from Power BI to Python, start with the same habits Excel teaches: clean data, clear structure and careful checking. Participants who master these basics find every other tool easier to learn.
Congratulations, Cohort 3
Well done to every participant for the effort and the questions in class. Those who completed the training receive a digital certificate with a QR code that employers can verify at any time on our verification page.
What is next
Excel has finished for 2026, but our live training continues:
- Data Collection with ODK, 26 to 30 October
- Statistical Data Analysis with SPSS, 2 to 11 November
See all our upcoming courses, or contact us to be told when the next Excel training is scheduled.
